Mark Acevedo is the lead pastor at Calvary Tabernacle of East Orlando. Mark has had extensive experience preaching and teaching God’s word serving as an itinerant preacher and pastor following his conversion to Christ. In July of 2013, following God’s leading, and in conjunction with other co-laborers in Christ, they started what is today Calvary Tabernacle of East Orlando. This ministry was birthed in the living room of his home with the heart cry of “For the glory of God, for the glory of Christ, for the glory of the Gospel.” Mark‘s desire is to see people come to life changing power of Jesus Christ and to delight themselves in Him.
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Mark now lives in Orlando Florida and is married to his wife Barbara, a middle school science teacher. Mark and Barbara are the proud parents of two married adult children, Matthew and Kristin, their spouses Erin and Jonathan, and a lovely granddaughter, Gloria Elizabeth.
Mark is a graduate of City University of New York and completed his requirements in Biblical Studies at The Masters University.
Todd Marquardt currently serves on the leadership team and as an elder at Calvary Tabernacle, actively involved in administrative and teaching functions in the ministry. Todd grew up at a Bible camp in rural Michigan where he gained a passion to serve the Lord at an early age. He earned his business degree with a Bible minor from Cedarville University in Ohio, and more recently finished his MBA from Liberty University. After moving to Florida and marrying the woman of his dreams in 2010, they followed his career and found their way to Orlando. Through the Lord’s leading and a commitment to be part of a Gospel-centered church, Todd and Aaryn were moved to play an active role in the formation and ministry of Calvary Tabernacle as charter members. They are active at home chasing two toddlers around the house, and are excited to see the Lord’s plan unfold in their family and church family.
